Sharjah, United Arab Emirates – 24, February 2026,

The Khalid bin Sultan Al Qasimi Humanitarian Foundation (KSQF) and Alef Group have announced a strategic humanitarian partnership, of financial and in-kind contributions valued at AED 18.5 million, to protect and empower children in vulnerable communities. The strategic partnership brings together two entities rooted in the legacy of the late Sheikh Khalid bin Sultan Al Qasimi, a visionary whose humanitarian spirit continues to inspire meaningful change.

Alef Group was founded by the late Sheikh Khalid bin Sultan Al Qasimi in 2013 to create human-centric, community-driven developments that enrich quality of life. Rooted in this legacy, Alef Group became a Founding Principal Partner of the Khalid bin Sultan Al Qasimi Humanitarian Foundation, established in 2024 under the leadership of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Wife of the Ruler of Sharjah, to carry forward Sheikh Khalid’s humanitarian mission, with a particular focus on protecting and empowering children worldwide.

United by Sheikh Khalid’s enduring legacy, Alef Group and KSQF are merging their strengths to deliver real-world change. The partnership focuses on advancing strategic initiatives to ensure children’s voices are heard, their rights are upheld, and their futures are safeguarded. By working together, the two entities will create safe, nurturing spaces where children can grow and thrive and advocate for their protection worldwide.

Through this collaboration, Alef Group will provide essential support to KSQF’s campaigns, outreach, and operations, enhancing the Foundation’s ability to amplify its impact, with support extending through 2027. Together, they will work to raise global awareness of the urgent need for child protection and build a future where all children are empowered to reach their full potential.

The partnership was launched at Alef headquarters with notable attendees including Raed Kajoor Al Nuaimi, CEO of Alef Group, and Lujan Mourad, Director of KSQF, along with key representatives from both organisations.

Raed Kajoor Al Nuaimi, CEO of Alef Group, stated: “The late Sheikh Khalid built this company to shape communities where people thrive, not just physically, but socially and emotionally, and his legacy continues to guide everything we do at Alef. This is reflected in our partnership with KSQF and aligns with Alef’s corporate social responsibility strategy to support humanitarian efforts aimed at creating safer and more nurturing environments for children. Today, Sheikh Khalid’s vision is being carried forward through a foundation that bears his name, uniting purpose, responsibility, and action to safeguard what he valued most: the right of every child to grow up safe, empowered, and heard.”

Lujan Mourad, Director of KSQF, shared: “This partnership represents a pivotal moment in our journey, as meaningful collaborations are the cornerstone of our impact. By joining forces with partners like Alef, who align with our values, we are better positioned to protect children affected by conflict, poverty, and natural disasters, while tackling the grave injustices of exploitation, forced labour, and trafficking. What makes this collaboration especially significant is its connection to the late Sheikh Khalid bin Sultan Al Qasimi. Together, we are honouring his memory, shaping the future he believed in; where we empower and protect children, ensuring their fundamental rights are upheld and secured.”

The partnership will further support KSQF’s ongoing efforts to protect and empower children globally based on the Foundation’s three core pillars – safeguarding initiatives, advocacy programs, and capacity building. Together, KSQF and Alef Group are ensuring the late Sheikh Khalid bin Sultan Al Qasimi’s vision of a safer, more just world for the most vulnerable communities to grow and inspire for generations to come.
