At KSQF, we have aligned our core mission with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. Our projects are meticulously designed to create tangible progress towards these global targets, right here in our community and beyond.

At KSQF, we align our efforts with SDG Target 8.7, which calls for the eradication of forced labour and the worst forms of child labour. Our strategy centres on prevention and protection by investing in child protection systems, essential infrastructure, and sustainable livelihoods, while strengthening legal frameworks and their enforcement. We also work closely with families and communities to address the root causes of child labour and to build local resilience. Awareness-raising is a key part of our approach—ensuring that children, caregivers, and community leaders understand the harms of child labour and the importance of education and child rights.

Current Projects

At KSQF, we confront the grave realities of child trafficking, sexual exploitation, and violence through targeted interventions aligned with SDG Target 16.2.
Our efforts prioritise prevention through awareness-raising, strengthening protective environments, and supporting victims and survivors. This includes investing in safe houses and shelters, providing medical and trauma-informed psychosocial support and building the capacity of front-line professionals including social workers, community leaders, and government officials through targeted training to improve identification, response, and coordination efforts.

At KSQF, we align our efforts with SDG Target 5.3, which calls for the elimination of all harmful practices, including child, early, and forced marriage and female genital mutilation. Our prevention-focused work strengthens child protection systems, expands access to education, provides economic alternatives, and raises community awareness—while engaging families, elders, religious figures, and leaders to drive change.
Despite progress over the past decade, child marriage persists in regions affected by poverty, conflict, and gender inequality. Through a holistic approach, we combine advocacy for stronger laws and policies with direct interventions that protect girls—ensuring access to education, economic opportunities, and community support. By addressing both systemic barriers and individual needs, KSQF empowers every girl to shape her own future.
